The MyX is an ActiveX (COM) Object for directly accessing your MySQL servers versions 3.21.x to 5.x skipping slower methods like ODBC.  It has full support for all fieldtypes, even BLOB/TEXT/ENUM/SET and includes full updating capabilities on any recordset/dataset.  Some utility functions include a method for populating a HTML template with your recordset's current record, a method for creating a complete HTML table from your recordset using HTML templates and a method giving you full editing and scrolling on any recordset using only 1 line of ASP. Full reporting when you have MyCon or Mascon. Ordering and Licensing of MyX:

When you order MyX, you are entitled to free minor version upgrades and email support.  MyX comes in two licensing schemes, one if you are an end-user and wish to install MyX on a webserver thereby providing the whole webserver and all websites on it with the MyX functionality.  The second licensing method is intended for developers whom wish to distribute MyX royalty free with their application, ex. Visual Basic.  Bulk discount prices are available on the order page.  MyX comes in two flavours, one is a Lite version which excludes the reporting and emailing functionality rendering the ActiveX Object only ~800Kb in size thus resulting in very little memory overhead for your webserver as MyX is multithreaded and may be pooled.  The full version includes the reporting and emailing resulting in a ~4Mb object, but it ofcourse includes the not to be underestimated functionality of delivering any report template you can design on a MySQL database into PDF/RTF/XLS/etc formats and displaying it real-time or email it to the end-user.  You may use either flavours either when in trial mode or when registered, it is purely a "what do I need?"-choice to be made by you. Thus either small size less functionality, which you will then have to rewrite in your application or website, or larger size and more functionality.
